Slavery
I might have missed the Monday to the discussion that I had picked up on that following Thursday which was what do we consider slavery to actually be? Because here in the U.S. it was determined to be based on color of the skin as where in other places slaves were able to obtain property and be educated. Now for a slave to be able to reach a maximum position within the Harem is a respectful to the person and there family. Eventually just to be able to stay there and live within those walls is something completely an experience for the person and the family. Slavery should not be based on color or even race, I even believe that there should not have even been slaves in that case.

There are many forms of slaves. It all depends what part of the world you become from because in the past these women who worked for the Harem gave their lives to be part of this life. Even though they were allowed some freedom it is still a form a slavery because of their form of work. In the United States slavery was with the African Americans in the south giving them no freedom for example they could not learn to read or write. It all depends how you look upon the time period and what the people actually did.
