Ottoman Empire
I find that the Ottoman Empire showed a new ability in the tactics of war before the Mongols arrived with gun power. The special tactics and maneuvers on horses showed that it took them the time and the ability to learn, in order to surprise there opponents. The history behind the Middle East seems to me to be that it has always been a struggle for them to take a respectable position in the world. By that I mean just right next to the Ottoman Empire there were two great Empires right next to them which were the Byzantine and the Mongol Empire. A treat of religion to be the powerful in the world has been a fight over the years.

It was up to these empires to find ways to survive. The Ottoman Empire took their sources and used them in order to survive. Countries after that can use what the Ottomans did in order to improve their countries. You need to learn from the past and if you do that you will improve your future.
ReplyDeletebut these empires were too busy in their own fights and conflect over power, which gave the time for the ottomans to develope these extraordenary skills and surprise their enemies with.
ReplyDeletethe existance of these two empires gave them a chance to become one of the greatest empires in that region.
The future empires I thought learned from the Ottomans. The Ottomans used their basic knowledge and skill to make their empire succeed and survive. The Ottomans were extremely patient on teaching their soldiers how to fight. Th Ottomans were a well organized and strong empire and many empires took that into notice. The Ottoman Empire served as a great example for the other empires.
